Hello! My name is Elizabeth Edwards, and I am a PhD student in Rhetoric and Composition. Prior to moving to Pullman, WA in August 2011, I lived in various regions of California. Despite an unfamiliar and mild discomfort with navigating snow, I am grateful to have traded the congested freeways in exchange for the rolling hills of the Palouse. My research interests include, but are not limited to: large-scale assessment, particularly machine scoring of writing; economic theories and policy outcomes connected to large-scale assessments; and composition theory/pedagogy. My intention for building this website is to share my interests, both scholarly and pedagogical, and to maintain contact with colleagues.
